Subject	Has anyone modified stock cats to fit a 3" exhaust?

Message	Looking for someone who has modified a set of stock cats. I have 3 inch down pipes and I know I'll need 3 inch flanges welded on and a couple of reducers to what size from 3 inch? Reason this may need to be done is so my car can pass inspection then come right off to put the test pipes back on.
